A Project of a Total Life is a very dear, self initiated digital gallery by Yucca Studio.
Our studio believes that kindness manifests itself in conduct, action and relationships. We very much believe in the importance of leisure, being “leisure” synonymous of availability – “It means a mind that is not constantly occupied with something”. With that being said, we value the holiday time too much not to do a whole new website around that.
We are sure that, in everything in life, there is the act of learning, and that especially includes our travelings. When we’re totally honest, that same honesty is conveyed to others, so our hobby has been to sort of follow that honesty around. Trough analogue photography and traveling, we have been capturing endearing details of beautiful souls.
Following one of the brilliant books by School of Life, “How to Travel”, we’ve created this Archive of lovely, good looking and truthful people, bodies, landscapes and, if we are lucky enough to stumble upon them, incredible pets and animals that are, for sure, smarter than us.
“Sunshine isn’t merely “nice”. It has a profound role in our lives. It is an agent of moral qualities: generosity, courage, the appreciation of the present moment and a confidence in our surroundings. We can feel our character changing in the sun: becoming something we like a lot more.
The destination we find ourselves drawn to, reflect an underlying sense of what is currently missing or under-supported in our lives. We are seeking, trough our travels, not just to see new places, but also to become fuller, more complete beings.
The destination promises to correct imbalances in our psyches, for we are all inevitably a little lacking or excessive in one area or another. The place we go to should, ideally, help to teach us certain lessons that we know we need to hear. Our destinations are a guide to, and a goad for, who we are trying to become.
There may be many more routes to being happy than the ones we’ve explored to date.”
